This is why, you have made a vow that you will bring your family to some of the most beautiful places in the world. But of course, before you do that, you would like to tour them around your own country. While it is beyond your budget to scour every city in the United States, you think it is enough that you show them the top American cities. Below you will find some options that you may want to include in your list of places to go to.

1. Orlando, Florida

Orlando in Florida is often called the "theme park capital of the world." But it is actually more than that. Yes, it is home to the big three: Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. Fact remains that many other equally impressive and educational attractions are sprawled all over the area including the Kennedy Space Center, Everglades National Park, Gatorland, and a host of museums, historic sites, and so many more. If you are thinking of going to this place for a vacation and you want to save money, you can avail Orlando Discount vacation packages online which will allow you to save significantly on Orlando vacation rental and park admission.

2. San Francisco, California

When you think about San Francisco, the first thing on your mind is the Golden Gate Bridge. You certainly hope of taking a picture in front of this colossal bridge. But aside from that, this city in California is also oozing in culture and history. It also has a mild weather that contributes to a fine vacation. Tourist attractions are also plentiful.

3. Charleston, South Carolina

If you want a nostalgic feel to your vacation, Charleston in South Carolina is the ideal destination for you and your family. Old buildings and homes taken care by the Historical Society are spread all over. Do not miss the carriage tour which will take you around the fascinating historic sites in this part of South Carolina.

4. New York City, New York

For some people, you cannot say you have been to the United States, if you have not visited the Big Apple. Tourists from all over the world flock to this part of the country to visit a wide array of attractions, most popular of which is the Statue of Liberty.

5. Chicago, Illinois

Chicago is pretty much like New York in terms of entertainment options but it is a little less expensive so this place will give your pockets a relief. While the US is a great place to live, one of the hardest decisions for many people traveling here to make is what city to visit. This is certainly not easy to do, as there are so many great options. Whether you are looking for culture, great eats, nightlife or entertainment, there is are a number of cities in the US that have you covered.

This article will highlight some of the greatest destination cities for anyone looking to take a trip the United States.

The first city that I will mention should not come as a surprise, and that of course is New York City. Between Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens (sorry Bronx and Staten Island), there is a enough to do to keep a tourist busy for weeks. I can go into the specifics, but I am sure you already know.

Los Angeles is another great American city, but for different reasons. Aside from the fact that this is the world capital for the movie industry, Los Angeles happens to be a great city geographically as well. There are mountains, desert and beaches all within an hour's drive.

New Orleans is an incredible city and when it comes to culture, probably has the rest beat. The food, the people and of course, the history (both past and more recent) of New Orleans helps make it a very special city.

When it comes to the South, my favorite city is none other than Nashville, Tennessee. Music City, as they call it, was where I went to college, so sure I may be biased, but there is plenty to love about this charming southern town.

One other incredible town that I feel is worth mentioning is Austin Texas. This place is just a really cool city and the people here are interesting, to say the least. The best time to go down is during the annual South By South West festival, which has enough live music to give you your yearly fix.

As it stands, this is my list. Maybe it will change after I visit Hawaii for the first time next year.

So many of us enjoy taking a mini trip with our families, friends or partners, but how on earth do you decide where to go when the choices are so overwhelming? Lack of time and funds mean we'll never get to go everywhere that we want to go, so we have to prioritize.

On some of my many trips I have taken in some fantastic cities and here are just some of my recommendations for places to take a great mini trip.

Let's start off in Nashville. As I'm lucky enough to have a good friend who lives there, I've taken quite a few trips there and always have a fantastic time.

The Nashville culture is fascinating, with the Grand Ole Opry being a major attraction, where you can enjoy the best of Country Music. If you are food lover, you are literally spoiled for choice in Nashville, there are numerous restaurants serving just about every kind of food there is.

If you are looking to take a short trip to a city in the North East, why not try Newport or Providence in Rhode Island. Although the smallest of all our states, there is much to offer the visitor and a trip is well worth while.

These two cities sit easily in different categories. Providence is not a large city by any means, but is extremely picturesque and has a fascinating history. 30 minutes away is the bustling resort of Newport, very much geared towards the summer visitor and offering great restaurants and beaches.

The great architecture and fantastic food make the long trip down South to New Orleans well worth the effort. It can be an expensive trip, but if you are able to afford it, this is a trip you will never regret making.

These are just a few of my favorite destinations, and I think you'll enjoy them too. Enjoy your travels and keep safe.

When it comes to traveling through the United States of America, there are no shortage of great places to see. There are many American cities that are worth seeing in your lifetime which I have been fortunate enough to get to see throughout my business and personal travels.

Here is my list of the 5 best cities in all of America to visit.

I will start with the obvious. New York City has to be on any list of great American cities. Regardless of what your interests are, New York City has got it all. For food, culture, theatre, museums and history, its hard to get a much better city than The Big Apple.

Another great city that can be visited any time of year is Miami. The weather is pretty much always gorgeous, as are the people. Go to one of the restaurants along South Beach and people watch as the interesting locals walk by.

I would be remiss to include include a list of amazing American cities and not mention The Big Easy, New Orleans. New Orleans holds a special place in my heart. Since several of my family members went to school down there, I was fortunate enough to visit a few times over the past few years.

Another awesome place to visit if you have children that are in need of a vacation is Orlando, Florida. Between Disney World and Universal Studios, there is enough to do here to keep any child busy.

Over on the west coast, my personal favorite city is San Diego. The weather is always perfect, with crystal clear skies and beautiful beaches. The fish tacos in San Diego are a must.

Hopefully there is a city on this list that you are considering visiting soon, because they are all great vacation spots.

Days become shorter and months pass quickly. So many things change without us realizing! We must remember and cherish the one person who always spends the night sleeping at our side. So planning a romantic vacation will not only help you de-stress, but will also give you the chance to re-light the spark you may not have had time for lately!

I spent quite a lot of time reviewing different authors information and opinions on romantic destinations and found a lot of variety with some constants. I compiled my own list, assuring that the "proven" most romantic cities were in the number one spots! Hopefully you will find somewhere for you and your honey. Plan some events during your stay. A night in, a romantic picnic in the park, or a trip to the theater. Every city is unique in what it has to offer and the feeling that comes along with it. Enjoy reading, and enjoy your travels!

#1. SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco was not only on the top of USA list, but also world-wide! The history of this city gives it a European feel. Along with that comes Italian Cafes, Golden Gate Park for a romantic picnic, Chinatown, and so much more to experience and explore! Fleur de Lys was found to be one of the most romantic restaurants in America as well.

#2. NEW ORLEANS - There's always something happening on the streets of New Orleans! Having many threats of hurricanes throughout the past, the love for life is overwhelming! The food is excellent and they assure you will fall in love all over again.

#3. HAWAII - Yes, I know. I didn't include a specific city. That's because all of Hawaii is beautiful. It is impossible to be stressed in Hawaii. All you have to do is lay on the beach drinking a Mai Tai with fixings for a romantic picnic, and you and your lover are lost on Love's memory lane...

#4. NEW YORK - The hustle and bustle of this huge city may turn you off at your first thought of visiting. But the bigger the city, the more it has to offer! The perfect romantic getaway in New York would be hosted by "The Lowell", one of the most romantic hotels. Stop by the "River Cafe" on one of your relaxing strolls, or central park for a romantic picnic in the afternoon. New York will overwhelm you with it's hidden charm and will assure you are never bored.

#5. LAS VEGAS - Of course! Las Vegas must be on the list! From it's 10-minute wedding chapels to high class casinos...It's the picture of romance for some! The night life is amazing and you will find shop you never expected to see. Along with the fun, there is also romance in exotic hotels and classy restaurants. Try dining at "Alex" or "Joel Robuchon" and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I know all these cities seem like the obvious, but it is truly because they deserve it. All who travel here are not disappointed with what they find and often want to return. But in case you were looking for something a little smaller and quaint. I've added a bonus city for your consideration.

Bonus - CUMBERLAND ISLAND, GEORGIA - Cumberland Island is a sure retreat for you and your love. You can walk the beach without seeing a soul, or catch wild horses running at sunset. Fall is a perfect time here, to be truly alone. Plenty or nature surrounds you providing gorgeous scenery for the romantic picnic you have planned. Be sure to bring a bottle of your most treasured wine. The Grey field Inn has been proclaimed one of America's most romantic hotels as well.

Enjoy your vacation, and be sure to pack the necessities. (Wink)
